Morocco is a country where time seems to stand still. It feels like a door I've reopened after many years. My roots are in both the Netherlands and Morocco, yet I’ve never fully connected with either culture. Not being deeply rooted in one culture gives me the freedom to explore different worlds.

Now, I experience this place in an entirely new way—mysterious and intriguing, partly because I don’t speak the language.

Its slow rhythm of life and strong cultural identity have kept its authenticity intact despite modern influences.

This is my ongoing project: a journey where I continue to discover new layers of Morocco. It’s an opportunity to dig deeper, lose myself in time, and re-experience and absorb the essence of the country.
