Morocco is a country where time seems to slow down, like a long-closed door finally opening. With roots in both the Netherlands and Morocco, I never feel entirely at home in one culture. However, this sense of displacement offers the freedom to explore different worlds with an open mind. Today, I experience Morocco in a new, almost magical way – a mysterious country full of intrigue, intensified by my unfamiliarity with the language. The slow rhythm of life and the deep, unchanging cultural identity have preserved Morocco's authenticity, even in an increasingly modern world.

It is a personal journey, a continuous search for hidden stories and unknown faces. It offers the opportunity to dig deeper and re-feel and capture the essence of this enchanting country. In the silence of time, images emerge that reveal the soul of Morocco.
My inspiration comes from the interaction between people and their environment ,tradition and modernity, culture, color, and light. These dynamics form the foundation of the stories I wish to tell. For me, it’s not just about the story but especially about the emotions that an image can evoke.
